Dr. Diarmuid Torney is an associate professor in the School of Law and Government at Dublin City University. His research focuses on climate change politics, policy, and governance. He is co-director of the DCU Centre for Climate and Society and a lead author on Ireland’s first Five Year Assessment Report on climate change, commissioned by the Environmental Protection Agency.

Jerry McEvilly is Head of Policy with Friends of the Earth Ireland.

Professor John Barry teaches Green political economy at Queen's University Belfast. Prof. Barry is a green economist and an activist with research interests in anti-extractivism, just energy and sustainability transitions, citizen empowerment, anti-capitalism, anti-economic growth, and public health.

John McElligott is a campaigner with grassroots group Safety Before LNG. Safety Before LNG advocates for responsible strategic siting of LNG terminals in areas which do not put people’s health and safety in danger. 

Lynda Sullivan is an environmental writer, activist, campaigner and organiser, involved with Environmental Justice Network Ireland, Yes to Life No to Mining, and the CAIM network.

Dr. Mary Dobbs is an environmental law lecturer in the School of Law and Criminology. Dr. Dobbs specialises in environmental law & governance, agriculture and genetically modified crops. She is the legal expert on the Expert Advisory Group for the Citizens' Assembly on Biodiversity Loss.

Niall Sargent is is an award-winning multimedia investigative reporter with Noteworthy, a community-led investigative journalism platform with The Journal, where he is focused on issues related to climate change, biodiversity, and ecosystem services.

Dr. Orla Kelleher is an Assistant Professor in Law at Maynooth University's School of Law and Criminology. Dr. Kelleher specialises in climate change, environmental, and human rights law. Her current research focuses on environmental rights, climate litigation, climate justice and just transitions.

Prof Owen McIntyre is a Professor at the School of Law, University College Cork, where he is Director of the LL.M. Environmental & Natural Resources Law and Co-Director of the Centre for Law and the Environment. His principal area of interest is Environmental Law, with a particular research focus on International Water Law.
