We are a transdisciplinary collective seeking to leverage the transformative potential of higher education institutions to accelerate a just transition and advance climate justice. The Climate Justice Universities Union has emerged from a network based on the island of Ireland. Our Coordinating Team and some of our strategic initiatives are focused on the Irish context. We warmly welcome membership, collaboration and coalition-building from around the world. Membership is free and open to anyone who believes our higher education institutions have a more significant role to play in tackling our planetary crisis.
