Her research maps the legal influences and implications of the United Nations 2030 Sustainable Development Goals in the context of international law. She has been involved with grassroots climate activism for the past 5 years and has a keen interest in environmental justice issues.

Phoebe Duvall is An Taisce's Planning and Environmental Policy Officer. Her work focuses on the full implementation, enforcement, and improvement of national and European environmental law and policy, particularly as it applies to planning. She also is a strong advocate for public participation and access to justice rights in planning and environmental decision-making.

The Environmental Gathering
The Gathering is a collaboration of earth and water protectors, community groups, activists and individuals who come from all over the Island of Ireland to share their campaigns and inspire and support each other. Three events are organized annually - normally in the Spring, Summer and Autumn.

My research areas include environmental/ecological justice, green crime, environmental peacebuilding, and radical green politics. Currently, I am working on environmental peacebuilding and radical green politics in Northen Ireland, the political ecology of sea sand extraction in South Korea, and the role of anti-war environmentalists in building transnational solidarity.
